If you could have your car with a engine from a different market.

Basis of this. The engine has offered in your car(s) in a different market, the engine cannot be offered in your own market.

For me it be a Renault K9K 896 1.5L Turbo Diesel. It does with 110hp/191lb-ft.

I’d go with the JDM Prelude SiR S-Spec’s 220 HP H22A with LSD transmission. 220/165.

Well since there was only one engine not available in the US market for my 4Runner, I’ll have to take the 1KZ TE. 3 liter, 4 cylinder turbo diesel. And hilux surf graphics.

I would not have any because the US (my home market) got the best engine available.

I could be enticed by some diesel goodness, but after looking it up on the encyclopedia for Wikis, the highest output diesel only makes 7 more lb-ft of torque than my turbo gas engine. :/

They are all economy engines, but I’d pass on the others.

When I have my 1.8L base Sonic I prefered it over the 1.4L. I found the 1.8L much more linear, then the 1.4L. The diesel probably wins on fuel economy.

I would have the 2.0 STi turbo motor for my 2001 Subaru Forester and all the rest of the STi bits white where at it.

Truth.

The 1.4 is ALL midrange. Reving past 5k in the turbo is useless.

But the lag and surge in a narrow powerband is what turbos are all about. I like Turbos.

The 1.8's character, while more linear, feels more like any other small car engine. Where as the 1.4 turbo trumped everyone else in torque (at the time it debuted,) and had that unique turbo power delivery.

For the Prius, well, there’s only one engine not offered, and that’s the rear one. The 13 hp rear one. So, Prius e-Four instead of mine.

For the Miata... the only option that wasn’t here is the B6-ZE, and I think I’ll stick with my BP-4W, thanks.

The P60B40 from the M3 GTR. 444hp and 354 torques. They only built like 10 GTRs though, so finding one might be a bit tricky.
